These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ScribeZero iOS application and related services ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ScribeZero grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the App except as permitted by law.
The App records audio only when you choose to. You are solely responsible for obtaining all consents and providing all notices required by the laws that apply to you before recording any conversation, meeting, or session. Recording, wiretapping, and one-/two-party consent laws vary by country, state, and profession. You agree to use the App only where you are lawfully permitted to record and to comply with all applicable confidentiality, employment, and professional obligations.
Transcripts, summaries, SOAP notes, decisions, and action items are produced by automated, on-device models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided as a drafting aid only. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and verifying any output before relying on it or using it in any record. ScribeZero does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any generated content.
The App is a documentation tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, legal, or other professional advice or diagnosis. If you are a healthcare, legal, or other regulated professional, you remain solely responsible for your professional judgment, for the accuracy and adequacy of your records, and for compliance with all laws and standards applicable to your practice (including record-keeping and patient-confidentiality rules). You agree not to use the App to record or process content unlawfully, to infringe others' rights, to violate confidentiality obligations, or in any way that breaches applicable law. You are responsible for the content you record and store on your device.
You retain all rights to your recordings, transcripts, and notes. Because this content is stored and processed entirely on your device, ScribeZero does not access, claim, or receive any rights to it. Managing, exporting, backing up, and deleting your content is your responsibility.
The App, its design, and all related software and trademarks are owned by ScribeZero and its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property other than the limited license above.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. ScribeZero does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScribeZero and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
These Terms are between you and ScribeZero, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Any claim that the App fails to conform to a warranty may, to the extent permitted, be referred to Apple for a refund of the purchase price, where applicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App or the law. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
